Individuals
Individuals typically qualify as accredited investors based on income, net worth, or professional certifications. 
  1. Income: Proof of income exceeding $200,000 individually or $300,000 jointly for the past two years, with an expectation of similar income in the current year. Documentation may include tax returns, W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, or other income statements.
  2. Net Worth: Documentation showing a net worth over $1,000,000, individually or jointly, excluding their primary residence. Acceptable documents include bank statements, brokerage statements, and property deeds; a recent credit report may also be needed.
  3. Professional Certification: Proof of holding a Series 7, Series 65, or Series 82 license in good standing. This may involve providing name, CRD#, and employer information.
